Had 2 great days in the yards, a bit of drafting. De-horning, de sexing, branding amongst other things.
Erin drove the old truck and we took three separate lots of cattle to three different paddocks.
Next we got the horses out, mounted up and walked about 30 Wagyu/shorthorn cross to another paddock. Lots of gates, lots of fun, trotting, cantering and all under control. A fantastic day.

Wullo River Station 20 - NT.

I went on a couple of salt/mineral lick runs with the girl ringers, I have scrubbed water troughs, been in the yard & helped with a draft. There is always something to see on a station this size.

Get off the road!

All our bags of minerals arrive labelled for each paddock. As we send away soil samples and they work out what the cattle will be deficient in.

Sausages were made a couple of days ago by the ringers. (80kg).

80kg's of snag's!

They look tasty.

When we do a killer, we have to shoot, skin, bone it out, get it in the esky and back in the chiller within one hour.
