Always work to be done on a Cattle station.............

Catherine & I head out with hay.

I get to drive the big truck!!!

Pretty pleased with myself.

Yes I drove this & Catherine rolled the hay off.

The hay is in the paddock.

The killer has been hanging a week, so time to cut it up & cry vac.

Bags waiting to be sealed.

Looks ok.

Steve has to finish laying the floor at the Lakeview huts, I head out to help him for a couple of days.

I am staining the decking.

A pretty good work place, only 42 degrees today.

Ainslee & Erin came up and helped.

Boabs.

Carved in the Boab RM William's, give my love to Bonnie (Bonnie Henderson).

More stunning Boab trees.

Steve - just keeps on driving.

New floor & door, it all looks great for a guest lunch stop.

Refuelling Bore 2 on the way to the huts.

Well we have mistimed the river, so won't be crossing the Bullo anytime soon. We will have to back track & go the long way round.

Me working away.

Wullo River Station 30 - NT. (A mixed bag).

Station life is changing, the end of tourism is here, the final guests have left for 2021,staff are moving on & holidaying after 7 months, cattle work is mainly feeding, with some weaners still to sort.

The weather is getting extremely warm now, with some cloud.

                                                              Pamper Party.........

Millie painting my face.

Looks like a scary movie to me.

Erin even joined in.

My boss is scary.

I reckon I should get a pay out for this!

Next was our end of Season party, we stayed at the Kimberley Grande for 2 nights, free drinks from the bar, plenty of cocktails were enjoyed. We had a great meal, with a slide show of Joe-Lean. A slide show of all the team. The following morning we had a cruise at 7am on a party boat on the Ord River.

Emily on her 15th Birthday.

Some staff may be a little hung over.

Kate enjoying her Mimosa.

We did all get to have a swim behind the boat.

CEO Chris did a Thankyou speech.

Once back from the party boat, we had a BBQ lunch at ski beach. Followed by water sports activity's and a long cruise.

Pack down of the guest wing & homestead is done. We had the Evans sweat shop happening, with Steve sanding furniture and me staining. It all looked great when it was done.

Directors chairs, stools & so much more.

Fire pit chairs, umbrella stands, it just keeps coming.

Looks so good when done.

After patching, I always add my little trade mark! lol

In my spare time I patch the girls jeans (Ringers), I am not very good at hand sewing, however it will help them make it to the middle of November.

Next up we needed to do a kill as we were running low on beef.

Erin trying to get the cow to bleed out quickly.

The hand print of the killer.

We have a time frame of 45 minutes to bone the cow out and 15 minutes to get it back hanging in the fridge. Plenty of us today, with the ringers all trying to learn the cuts.

I only help skin.

Me skinning.

Catherine is straight into it.

Erin & Ainslee into it.

Me on the ute putting the meat in the esky.

Barnie the station dog looking for scraps.

Me strugging to reach & hang some meat.

Erin making sure, nothing is touching.
