Bamurru/Kakadu N.T. (8)

Several weeks have passed since our last blog, so below are photographs of our time, exploring and working.
Mary River Wilderness Lodge was a great place to stay, with several walks, lush green lawns and a happy hour!

We also went to Point Stuart Lodge. Now Point Stuart used to be one property, however it was split into about 6 properties, one of them being Swim Creek station which is where Bamurru is. Also there is an old abattoir here. Buffalo were first introduced in this area in the 1820's.


Jimmy's Creek rainforest walk.

This walk was short and delightful, It was like being in FNQ again.

We moved on to Shady Camp for our last night.

A big Salt water Croc at Shady Camp. This was a great place for Croc watching.
