Sugar Cane Update.

Yes well Steve is back driving Sugar Cane trucks after our 6 week trip to the Uk and I am back as House Keeper Supervisor at the five star Coconut Grove resort.
Whilst Steve was a way another driver in his truck, demolished his truck, he took it 4 WD and really they are not good at that!! Since we have be back one of the trucks rolled over on the range, also there has been several other accidents or incident's involving trucks. The mill keeps breaking down and two weeks ago a young man got his foot caught in the tipper at the mill and was trapped for nearly two hours, at this stage we believe they have saved his leg. Train derailments happen on a daily basis and often cause a lot of disruption to The Mill and all the truck drivers.
Latest crush figure's for the mill this week 21, 41,163 tonnes of Cane. This season the mill has crushed 693,400 tonnes of Cane , so far.

Oh dear!!!

Mmmmm not looking good!!

Oh that truck is on the wrong side of the road and its having a lie down!!

Whoops, that's a mess and the driver lost his job!!

They look different on their side??

The clean up begins.

A Frog.

I wonder if my truck will fit across that bridge?

I think it will just squeeze on!!

Very pretty.
