Undarra -Larva Tubes to Hughenden.

Heading towards Undarra, Steve spotted a large frill necked Lizard (of course I missed it).
Firstly we did the self drive tour out to Kalkani volcanic crater and an easy walk up the side of the crater followed by a rim walk, with splendid 360 degree views.
The only way to see the Larva Tubes is by guided tour, which of course we did. The pictures are not terribly good, the tubes were very vast and very dark at times. The story of how the tubes were formed is incredible and you have to see it to believe it.

A splendid view from the top of Kalkani Crater.

A storm coming in at Kalkani Crater Walk.

Fires burning in the distance.

A pretty bush on the rim of the Crater.

On our drive to Winton, there was very little to see, but Porcupine Gorge was worth a look.
