Huonville & Franklin, Tasmania.

Not much I can say, as everywhere in Tasmania is just so hilly and pretty. Stunning topography all around us.
We had a guided tour of the Wooden Boat Centre in Franklin, this was excellent and you can actually built your own wooden boat or canoe and learn a craft. Next Willie Smiths (Est 1888) Apple shed, Cider House, Museum & Distillery. Both were well worth a visit, however I have to say, I will never become a cider drinker! Loved the coffee.

Nice old truck.

Steve having a tasting paddle of Cider.

The Apple Wall with over 300 different types of Apples.

Steve relaxed in an original 1942 Apple shed.

The first alembic copper still in Australia, purpose built for making apple brandy.

Calm on the Huon River.

1911 longest serving registered passenger ship, served in both wars. Now under going restoration and having the original boiler put back in!

Pretty!

Built your own boat for $12000.

This was special.

Wood pellet steam boat.

Love to see the Natural Wood. (Huon Pine, Celery Top)

Stunning.

Messing about on the river.

The BIG Log at Geeveston.
