Bicheno - East Coast -Tasmania (With Sally).

On the way to Bicheno, we stop for lunch at Devils corner winery, for spectacular views. We visit a blow hole, followed by a 30 minute scenic flight over Freycinet National Park & Wineglass Bay. Onto Tasmania's only glass bottom boat to spot marine wildlife. Sally completed her day with "Devil's in the Dark"  tour which sounded excellent and she saw seven Devil's. (And I am not included in that count)!

Stunning.

Port Arthur - Tasmanina (with Sally).

We retrace our steps and have another day at Port Arthur, today is totally different. The sun is shinning, we do the introductory tour, followed by the boat tour and in the evening re-visit for the ghost tour.
The Port Arthur Historic Site is a place of national & international significance - part of the epic story of a settlement of this country. This was a complete community - home to military personnel, free settlers and convicts.
There was plenty of wild life around Pt Arthur.

Return ferry to Bruny Island, for a car & caravan $70. Once our camp was set up at the Neck, we head out to explore, the lighthouse, Cloudy Bay, Adventure Bay and a stunning 4wd track, that no one had been down recently. We had a great boat trip, visit the  Berri farm, chocolate factory, a winery and in the evening we froze to death whilst Fairy Penguin spotting.
