I spend a little time chasing cattle with the ringers this week.

Ainslee trying to tag -this big boy with no luck.

He liked Erin stroking his ear.

The NILS ear tag bent - so no tag.

Him watching me, watching him!

Steve & I went up the Homestead as hosts, for dinner one evening!

Watching the sun go down.

Drinks - (me gin, tonic & grapefruit juice).

Picture frame.

Ainslee on the tractor, taking directions from Erin, getting the lick.

Thr ringers had to move 3 tractors to get to the lick.

Moving another tractor.

Erin On the motor bike is off chasing cattle, we Ainslee & I following behind.

The story goes something like this........ We make a big thing about welcoming our guests and we also make a big thing when they leave. We make sure they are safely on the plane, with all luggage stowed. We rush back to the homestead, whilst they taxi down the runway. We head for the large grass lawn in front of the homestead. As they take off, we wave like crazy! These photos were taken from the guest's plane.......

Kate & I, looking professional.

Now these guests were great, they had seen us wave many other guests off during their stay, so we did something a little different to make them laugh!

Wiggle our butts & yes I do have shorts on.

Today we had a day off & went on a 6.30 horse ride. It was beautiful, we rode along the Bullo River, lots of trotting, several canters. We saw a lot of bird life and many crocs, one big one in particular. I didn't take any pictures, as I just wanted to enjoy the ride!

Next we took a drive to Dean's crossing. Somewhere new I hadn't been.

Rock, Sand and serenity.

Colours of the water.

Gentle trickle of water.
